For pubic consideration
26 September, 2023For pubic consideration and with attention to the United Nations special rapporteur on human rights in Iran and international organisations which are defending human rights:
On 01 August 1402, a member of our organization, The East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR), named Verishe Moradi, with the organizational code name “Ciwana Sine”, was kidnapped by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Since then, there has been no information regarding her whereabouts or well-being. Ciwana was in East Kurdistan to carry out political activities and to organize women in Eastern Kurdistan.
During this period, despite the continuous efforts and follow-up of the family of our comrade, no information has been obtained about her fate. This issue has raised the concern of her family and our organization regarding her condition.
We hold the Islamic Republic of Iran responsible for the life of our Comrade, Ciwana Sine.
In this regard, we ask the public, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in Iran, and the international human rights organisations and all women organisations to take the necessary measures regarding the forced disappearance of comrade Ciwana.
