22 July, 2016

A meeting was held with the guerrillas of HPJ and YRK (Eastern Kurdistan) about the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, as well as the Kurdistan revolution and resistance in Bakur. The meeting started of with the saluting leader Apo. They said 'The resistance of Leader Apo in İmralı prison is not only leadership resistance but also the resistance of the Kurdish people and all humanity. It symbolises the resistance and freedom against slavery and colonialism.

Our leader Apo is not only a member of the Kurdish people. He is also a representative and symbol of all the peoples of the Middle East and the leader of humanity. We use all of our power in our struggle for freedom of our leader and we will not stop our resistance for a moment. We will remain faithful to the martyrs and our leader. Leader Apo is only physically imprisoned but he he is free in mind and spirit. As he says: "I am a free man" and all the enemies' policies are ineffective – the opposite: every day the resistance and struggle intensifies.

HPJ and YRK guerrillas who attended also discussed the glorious resistance Bakur Kurdistan. This revolution and the İmralı resistance continues and they expressed: 'We salute this resistance and we say that we support the heroic struggle of the people in Kurdistan Bakur and we are ready to sacrifice ourselves for the freedom of our people. Undoubtedly, where the resistance and fight it is ongoing, freedom and victory is certain. As the Kurdish people's revolution in Rojava has proved to the world, geographical boundaries cannot affect our sympathy and solidarity. With the same empathy and honesty we will bring the Bakur revolution to victory.
So we call on our people support of our people in all parts of Kurdistan, and in particular E. Kurdistan for the resistance and revolution in Bakur. Especially to joint the ranky of the guerrillas and YPS Bakur, and the preservation of the presence of women and YPS, who are fighting for the freedom Leader Apo and all of Kurdistan. All young girls and boys from Piran Shahr, to Baneh, Marivan, Urmia, Maku, and Salmas need to fight for the elimination of borders and join the struggle of our people.
